01 — The concern

A 2.5 mm gap between the upper central incisors. The patient wanted it closed but did not want eighteen months of braces before her wedding.

02 — The plan

Composite bonding was the right conservative option — additive rather than subtractive, reversible, and completed in one sitting. We mocked up the proposed shape first so she could approve the width before anything was bonded.

  • Shade selection and freehand mock-up
  • Approval before treatment
  • Layered composite build-up on both centrals
  • Contouring and high-shine polish
03 — The result

The gap was closed symmetrically in one 90-minute appointment. The patient was told honestly that bonding will need a polish every year or two, and may need replacing after five to seven years.

“One appointment and it was done. Nobody can tell which teeth were treated.”
